Puppy Kindergarten

They grow up so fast! Seriously. Cougar has doubled in size since we brought her home (12 hours in a truck from Goddard, Kan.) on Jan. 20! She is a 31-lb. giant, and is the cutest, sweetest, smartest dog. (Okay, I'm biased.) Check out this post about Cougar and her licking habits from a few weeks ago.

On Tuesday we took her to Puppy Kindergarten at our vet's office - Oak Hill Animal Clinic . Here's a picture from their Facebook page - notice I'm restraining her from jumping out of my arms and she is posing like a goober.

But in all seriousness, Puppy Kindergarten is a cool thing - 4 nights of 1 hour classes. It teaches the puppies socialization and teaches us humans some training and house breaking tips as well. We were supposed to start on Feb. 26, but two Tuesdays in a row of intense snow in NWI but the kibosh on that.

While we were there on Tuesday, I took the time to snap a few photos myself.

Stay tuned for more Cougar updates!

  1. This kindergarten is really good. Last week I visited another one but saw leg grabbing and verbal abuse there, I walked out of that place immediately with a completely different feeling.
